Sacramento Black Chamber of Commerce Unveils New Brand Identity Reflecting California Statewide Services

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (December 24, 2024) – Sacramento Black Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the rebrand and name change to Capital Black Chamber of Commerce effective immediately.  This comprehensive rebranding includes a new company name, logo, and visual identity. The chamber will begin to expand services all throughout the state of California.  The goal is to reinvigorate membership and stimulate community engagement as the organization evolves in its 40th year.

This strategic transformation reflects the Chamber’s innovation and commitment to delivering forward-thinking solutions in economic development. It represents our renewed focus on realigning with our new business vision, differentiation from competitors, and retaining brand equity, as well as our ongoing commitment to achieve economic equality and sustainability for black and African Americans through policy, education, advocacy, community, and environment.

The rebranding process involved a thorough evaluation of the company’s mission, vision, and values. The rebranding will not impact current members or business operations, but rather enhance the ways in which the company interacts with its community and partners.

As part of the rebrand, the Chamber has launched a new logo that features the Capitol dome. This logo instantly ties to Sacramento’s identity while integrating a road-like visual element, which subtly also reinforces the idea that “All roads lead to the Capital.” The road symbolizes a journey toward economic empowerment, growth, and opportunity—elements that the Chamber strives to facilitate for its members. The inclusive imagery of a single road leading toward the Capitol speaks to both the Chamber’s local presence and its role in guiding businesses toward success and partnership with the city. It reflects inclusivity by highlighting a shared destination and collective progress.  This embodies the Chamber’s dedication to improve the economic and cultural well-being of the African American community.
