Tech Trek: Discover Innovation at Intel

Hop on the bus and join us for Tech Trek, a FREE event sponsored by the TECH INITIATIVE (TIC), a program dedicated to empowering women and BIPOC communities in technology. With a mission to break barriers and foster inclusivity in the tech industry, this event offers a unique opportunity to tour Intel’s facilities and dive into the world of cutting-edge technology.

The bus will depart from the CAPBCC office, making it easy and convenient to join us.

Agenda:

• 8:00 AM – 8:30 AM: Arrivals at the CAPBCC Office
  Participants check in and prepare for departure.
• 8:30 AM: Bus Departure to Intel
  The group will travel together to the Intel Folsom Campus.
• 9:15 AM – 10:00 AM: Arrival & Registration at Intel
  Upon arrival at Intel’s Folsom Campus attendees will check in, proceed to the conference room, and enjoy refreshments.
• 10:00 AM – 10:15 AM: Opening Remarks
  Welcome address by Kim Mayes, Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer (CDIO)
• 10:15 AM – 11:15 AM: Technical Panel Discussion and Q&A
  A panel of experts will discuss navigating tech careers, followed by a Q&A session.
• 11:15 AM – 12:15 PM: Lab Tour
  Explore Intel’s labs and learn about their cutting-edge technology.
• 12:15 PM – 1:15 PM: Lunch & Group Photo
  Enjoy lunch and capture the moment with a group photo.
• 1:30 PM: Departure
  The bus will depart from Intel to return to the CAPBCC office.

All participants will receive a small stipend for participation. Checks will be mailed upon conclusion of the event to the name and address included on the registration form.
