Let the party begin! We are excited and overjoyed about the inaugural graduation of the Capital Black Chamber of Commerce/Fortune School of Education Parent Advocacy Cohort.
These exceptionally brave parents spent the summer of 2020 not only fighting COVID-19 but also fought to protect educational outcomes for their children and help close the academic achievement gap for Black children in Sacramento.
Please join us October 28 6 pm via ZOOM to celebrate our brand-new political leaders.
As Parent Advocates they developed best practices, political strategy and how to engage the media to effect change in government.
On this night we honor Calvin McGee II, Jerome Chapel, and William Hancock.
