Jennifer Simek

Jennifer Simek is a strategic thought leader and compliance expert with a passion for building ethical, inclusive, and high-performing organizations. As Vice President of Compliance at PRIDE Industries, a leading non-profit dedicated to creating employment opportunities for people with disabilities, Jennifer has been instrumental in strengthening corporate governance during multiple acquisitions and establishing a robust internal audit and compliance department from the ground up.

With a background that includes leadership roles at a Big Four public accounting firm, Jennifer brings deep expertise in regulatory compliance, risk management, and strategic oversight. She currently serves on the AbilityOne Compliance Council, where she contributes to the modernization of compliance policies and procedures for one of the nation’s most impactful employment programs.

Jennifer holds a Master’s in Legal Studies from Arizona State University, a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Phoenix, and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive). She has also served on various boards and committees across professional, academic, and community organizations, reflecting her commitment to service and leadership.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) are not just values Jennifer supports—they are principles she lives by. She believes that true innovation and progress come from embracing diverse perspectives and creating spaces where everyone feels seen, heard, and empowered. Through her work, she champions inclusive practices that uplift underrepresented voices and foster a culture of belonging.
