Salem Street Bridge Replacement Project. Federal-aid Project No. BRLO-5037(022) 

Estimate: $3.2M, Working Days: 95, DBE 20%, BID DATE: January 14, 2025, at 4:00 P.M.

Steelhead Constructors JV (Steelhead) will be bidding the referenced project as a prime contractor. Plans and specifications for this project may be viewed at your local builder’s exchange and are available for review in our office. If you require additional information regarding the requirements of the contract, please don’t hesitate to call our office. In order that we may give your bid maximum consideration, please supply us with an email prior to the bid date describing the scope of your work.

We are requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers, including all certified DVBE/DBE/MBE/WBE/MB subcontractors. We are soliciting quotes for (including but not limited to):

Steelhead will work with suppliers and subcontractors to identify opportunities and break down items into economically feasible units.

Mobilization, Lead Compliance Plan, Progress Schedule (Critical Path Method), Traffic Control System, Job Site Management, Prepare Water Pollution Control Program, Prepare Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan, Temporary Construction Entrance, Temporary Concrete Washout, Temporary Creek Diversion Systems, Temporary High-Visibility Fence, Clearing and Grubbing, Stump Removal, Roadway Excavation, Imported Borrow, Decomposed Granite, Hydroseed, Landscape Restoration, Gravel Mulch 2” Depth, Class 2 Aggregate Base, Micro-Surfacing, Hot Mix Asphalt (Type A), Cold Plane Asphalt Concrete Pavement, Structural Concrete Retaining Curb, 6” Alternate Pipe Culvert, Drainage Inlet/Turning Structure, Adjust Frame and Cover to Grade, Rock Slope Protection (300lb Class IV Method B), Rock Slope Protection Fabric (Class 8), Minor Concrete (Curb Type A1-6 Mod), Minor Concrete (Curb and Gutter), Minor Concrete (Sidewalk), Remove Concrete (Curb Gutter and Sidewalk), Pre/Post Construction Surveys, Chain Link Fence (Type CL-6), 6’ Chain Link Gate (Type CL-6), Remove Gate, Tubular Handrailing, Thermoplastic Pavement Marking, 6’ Thermoplastic Traffic Stripe (enhanced Wet Night Visibility), Remove Thermoplastic Traffic Stripe, Conduit and Pull Box (City of Chico Fiber), Structure Excavation (Type D), Structure Backfill (Bridge), 24’ Cast-in-Drilled-Hole Concrete Piling, Prestressing Cast-in-Place Concrete, Structural Concrete Bridge, Structural Concrete Bridge (Polymer Fiber), Bar Reinforcing Steel (Bridge), Bridge Removal, Miscellaneous Metal (Bridge), Concrete Barrier.

Steelhead is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Carpenters, and Cement Masons Unions. All subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance, and workers’ compensation coverage meeting Steelhead’s requirements and will be required to sign Steelhead’s Subcontract Agreement. Performance and payment bonds up to 100% may be required for the full amount of the subcontract price. Prior to the bid, upon request, you can contact our office if you require assistance in bonding, lines of credit, insurance, obtaining necessary equipment, supplies, materials, or services, establishing delivery schedules, etc., which may be required by the Owner.
